The Amphenol TFS MPO Field connector combines the high data rates and compact density of standard multi-fiber MPO/MTP interfaces with the extreme mechanical strength of MIL-DTL-38999 Series III shells. Built inside a Size 13 metallic shell, the MPO Field allows standard 12-fiber or 24-fiber MPO patchcords to be easily converted into rugged, field-deployable connectors with no specialized termination tools required. It provides an ideal high-bandwidth backbone solution for harsh environments where multi-channel optical transmission is critical.
